purchased for her husband .. was exactly what he wanted. Unregistered these blades do not hold water. Spend the extra and get the best! .. excellent product!
I just installed on my 10 "jigsaw - absolutely brilliant work! Bright, hair-thin laser line with clasps saw, align right, square on the left edge of my blade of 60 teeth carbide. Only minor mods I should do when installation was to use a thin brass washer to shim unity between body and saw Arbor, and later add two thick slices of zinc to the mounting bracket to the custody of the blade to swing had to clean the edge external body laser guide - not much in either case. Imight suggest that anyone who has struggled with a line of "fat" or projection line that is not close to the blade may benefit from the addition of a spacer between the laser unit and face ARBOR - if there is a vacuum here, you may be "crushing" of the ring unit when tightening the bolt shaft, and thus distorting the alignment of the device provided with the plane of the blade, or , warping the camera body such as the laser is installed in a "balanced" position and manufactures a wide range since the issuer is notspinning consistently. Like all "fits-all" accessory, it is necessary to account for adjustment and modification of results in any brand of saw - but I think it's a great product and would certainly recommend it. ..! I am very happy with mine.
I just received the LG Oshlun-M01 laser guide saw that I bought after reviewing other similar devices (Irwin Industrial Tools 3061001 Miter Saw Laser Guide and the Infinite ® RS-1 Laser Cutting Guide). I bought the Oshlun after talking to a company representative who told me that the LG-M01 is the latest generation of lasers, and is both smaller and brighter than the Irwin or Infiniti.
So far I am very impressed by the laser. Installation is easy and the laserline is indeed very bright. Although I have not tested out, I'm sure it will be useful, even in bright sunlight. As described, the laser line falls slightly to the left of the cup, but once accomidation arrangements are made for this, it works as expected.
I mounted my Metabo KGS 255 compound miter saw using one of the bolts included. There were no problems with clearance of the blade and no need to adjust the location of the projected beam. Installation instructionssaid that "inclusive" o-ring may be necessary to mount the laser saws, but no such o-ring was in the package. Fortunately, it was not necessary for my saw. I am so happy with this laser guide, I'll buy several others and send them as gifts to friends.
This is a high quality blade I expected and performance is that and more. I've never been able to cut plexi without melting and chipping the cutting blade without melting and super good edge.FORREST does it again.
So far I have used this saw for the laying of floor coverings and general work style remodel. My concerns were that this saw would be refurbished rather beat up and they have simply cleaned and slapped a new plastic top. This was not the case. 60T new blade on it, clamp new job, a dust bag new, it looked like it was a demonstration model. The only thing she could use a new screws on the cover plate and bolt lock screen was bent and would not thread in. Its strengths are its adjustable soyou can make all square. The locking detent positions are very tight. The miter and bevel gauges are clear and easy to read and, finally, the power is very good. Even with a 80T blade cuts it easily. The dust bag is pretty worthless but they all are. I expect that saw me survive. I think your best for your money on Amazon. There are also many other tests on the internet praising the saw.

The Lowdown: Considered the best combination blade on the market. Worth the price.
Things to consider:
- This blade has an alternate top bevel (ATB) Patron of the tooth. This means that the teeth rise above the sides, then in the middle - which means it is not good for cutting slots or spline Kerfs you'll want to mount another piece of wood (as in Boxmaking). (Most RIP blades have flat teeth to purchase an extractor down from borg if you want to make thesesort of kerf cut.)
- The blade is thick. If you have a larger cabinet saw, you're in the clear to use. (With my 3HP Grizzly 1023 is like butter.) With a saw smaller (contractors or table), you may not have enough power to push this thing through thick woods, it is important ask around and plan ahead.
- Plan the size of bleeding when buying wood. I know I have more than once found that I had forgotten to account for such a large drain in my materialplanning. If you rip a board into four sections with that knife, you will lose 3/8ths to bleeding! So if you're conservation-minded when it comes to cheap wood, you could opt for a thin kerf.
- Follow the instructions Forrest to use this blade. In the thick hardwoods, it is possible to "blue" blade if you build too much friction (which could occur with any blade for a lot of reasons if you're not careful.) He ' is not likely, but possible, and it willyou really angry at the destruction of such an expensive blade.
- Keep it clean. She, like most blades cuts much better when it is clean. I recommend polishing the sides of it too.
NAME OF THE MACHINE:
- The Forrest Woodworker II is the "gold standard" Blade combination (combo = both heartbreaking and transverse) on the market Tablesaw.
- Most professionals do the work of fine wood recommend this blade for both the quality it provides andthe convenience of not having to change blades. The time it saves money in your pocket in a production environment.
- The company stands behind their products. I had a plate deformed they replaced quickly ... After establishment of the guarantee has expired. I've heard good things about their sharpening service as well. The best part? You can really talk to a man in America, on the phone.
First let me tell you that you will not only get better indicator tab for the money to buy it from Amazon. As I write this, the MRSP for this gauge is $ 239. Amazon sells it for $ 101! Read that twice - yep - $ 101. Which is far below the selling price of the manufacturer of the Amazon, which is selling at a loss. I thought it was a good deal on the $ 162 I paid (price at the time on Amazon).
Secondly, the ratings on this gauge have suffered somewhat of a bad originalProduct picture, which shows the clip option. Some of those who do not read what is included and what was not down-rated the product when they did not check. While I understand why it has stuck and it may be, indeed, easy to forget something like that, it should not affect the rating of the product itself.
In my opinion ...
Things I like: The construction is heavy and solid. The stock aluminum bar is large and straight. The miter bar slot nylonsetting work perfectly, but note that you want to adjust when the bar is not in the apartment. They are easy to adjust when the bar is out of the slot, and almost impossible when it is in the slot. The adjustable stop is the best I've seen on a miter gauge.
I thought that things could be better: the scale is fixed, making it useless, except for a rough estimate at the position 90 degrees. The scale on the telescoping section is actually upside down from the ladder on the mainextrusion! It actually makes sense if you use it, but is certainly a little bizarre. Two handles to set the bar at the top is a little pain and handles in your way sometimes.
Other comments:
The basic accuracy of the tool is fixed in mounting the device firing pin itself. If you do not set that up right, the gauge will never be exact. The horse is fussy and uses several small screws. It is possible to rob or threaded holes in which theyscrew. My advice is to carefully screw them in without the adapter plate or pin mechanism first time, back them, then attach. I did it after feeling a slight resistance in a screw and had no problem. This is a configuration problem once.
The precision of the firing pin mechanism itself, you still have to lock the head after setting the correct angle when you use the PIN shot. JDS will tell you that most complaints about the accuracy consume is because users are not lockedgauge, thinking of firing pin will hold the corner! The mechanism of Pine plan is accurate, but you must learn to use it. I found that it provides accurate, repeatable results and while it is used in the same way every time. Firstly, it must engage the pin with a snap. If you try to finesse or force, you're essentially going to just hang at an angle slightly closed. Allow the candle - which is machined to a high degree of accuracy - to do its job. The pin and holefaces are also a few (small) lubrication. Finally, smooth the use of the mechanism even more. These remarks apply to any mechanism pin shot.
I give the gauge a 4 instead of 5 for one main reason: as good as the gauge is, you can bend the head extensions longer. You can reduce or eliminate that, making sure the inventory control and gauge closest to the head (ie, not allowing the weight of the stock on the outer end to deflect the pressure gauge), but I have been hoping that it wouldbe more severe. This is not a substitute for a saw sled lengths longer, at least not for the heavy equipment and panels.
