This is a rock-solid Miter Gage. Easy to configure and use. There are two stops on the gauge and both are easy to use and produce highly reproducible cuts. Customer Service at JDS is efficient and pleasant. (I accidentally dropped the gauge off the bench and one of the cases broke. JDS quickly shipped a replacement for a nominal sum, $ 4). It is a token price. But I'm more cross that the cost is justified.

Also, I really, really like the stop. It is very easy to adaptprecisely because it has a screw mechanism which allows the user to slip on the ideal length. It is a very nice feature.
