Aluminum Cuts like wood. Be careful though. The miter saw instructions you give precautions to follow for a given blade does not catch the metal (the part that is cut) and round like a ball on the back side of the saw. I have not read / follow the instructions of my saw, (and has learned the hard way).
I used this blade to cut aluminum. I was surprised by the smooth and effortless it was. The thickness of aluminum varies from cut to cut, but the blade does Morse's work. Steel has taken a little more cut. In some cases, there were lots of sparks shot out during the cut, the cut, but slower reduction of sparks. Overall I am very happy with my blade Morse seen. I highly recommend it.
This is probably the best article I could buy for our crown molding project. My wife and I are building our house with both hands. I was worried about installing the cornice with all the stuff you need to master to get a good job. The crown molding jig Bench Dog answering all questions simply with all the confusion associated with cutting the molding. I will say that I had an idea of someone else who bought the same template, itis a good idea to physically attach the jig saw. I drilled two holes in the vertical part of the template that matched the existing hole on the fence with my chainsaw. I'm using bolts with wing nuts, wing nuts, it is easier to move the template from left or right side depending on the easiest haircut you want.
The rock slide and well worth the price. I use ABS plastic and Plexiglas quite often and I can honestly say that this blade is far superior compared to the same narrow way of my 80 or 60 tooth Freud blade. I used 1 inch thick Lexan for his first try, no chips was very small fine shavings instead of chips plexi bit. This blade also very quiet. Overall I am very impressed by this product.
This blade is worth every penny. I bought one of those at the lumber yard, I work at (where Ace Hardware is stored) and I love it. I use it in my Bosch 4212L 12-inch Dual Bevel Compound Miter Saw with Laser Tracking. It is robust and works silently. I'm not sure, however, if it can be reteethed. I should also note that this blade has 3 different teeth while most have only two. Rather than having only left and right teeth, this blade has teeth left, right and center. Iurges everyone. It cuts so easily that you never have to sand again.
