It is machined and balanced for maximum cutting efficiency on aluminum extrusions, non-ferrous metals, wood and other materials, including steel when an abrasive wheel is used. The operator is protected by the enclosure around the blade and belt drive. The slotted key fences are adjustable, and always remain square to the blade. These professional miter saws are made of iron castings that are precision machined and ground to ensure long life and accurate cuts every time. Spindle and pivot shafts have pre-loaded, sealed ball bearings. The two HP fan cooled, totally enclosed, one or three phase motor develops 3,700 RPM.
