I do most of my cut with the Porter Cable Variable 50 tpi saw. It works well, but does not answer on the plywood, often leaving small chips on the board. I just bought this blade Irwin particularly for plywood and the results are excellent. Very nice finish. (I made a zero clearance insert on the table saw for some time, probably contributing to the cons-plated cutting too.)
I had this saw for a couple of years. This is a great saw that has never been stuck or loss of power. The horizontal handle is superb. The blade is not bad either, but it took a little oak and some plywood pieces I recently cut. The only drawback is size. Recently, I had to cut some shelves that was 9 "wide, too big for the saw. I wish I had the 10" saw format (36-240). If you plan to keep your small sized projects it is an excellent saw. ! If youto larger projects, namely shelves, bookcases, etc., then invest in the Delta 36-240 Sidekick sliding miter saw. I also added a LaserKerf to mine, which is a big plus ... Overall, this saw is phenomenal for the price and I will continue to buy Delta.

I try to damper blade w o / and then a reinforcement of w / IT. I see an improvement on the hardwood when ripping.
The only thing I dislike. I receive the product in a rusty state.
I can not recognize the print Forrest on the shock. I can send an email to Forrest wonder why. Maybe Forrest can not know what happens after the packagedamper and put in storage. On Joiner Blade II, The carbide tip and the blade joint has a similar condition, but it came with vinyl protector on the perimeter.
